MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Greetings soldiers,

You have all completed a 7 week long training with us this semester, and we will now officially declare it as MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

To round up everything, you are invited to have a time of praise and worship and fellowship together. But wait, there's more, there will be food and fun as well. Let us now have fellowship together and most importantly to praise the Lord.

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise, give thanks to Him and praise His name." Psalm 100:4

Do not forget that in the midst of your busyness and time spent on your studies, do spend some quiet time with God and let Him speak to you in His very own way.

RunForTheNation '09

Hey people, remember what Uncle Meng Yew announced last Friday after our Amazing Race? For the benefit of those who weren't there, here's it. It's called Run For The Nation.

Here's an excerpt of something about this program:

Run For The Nation or RunNat is a single morning running event that sees Christians praying as they run throughout selected areas in the city or town where the event is held. The Runners are grouped into teams of three and each Team is required to cover a 5km run of a preselected route passing by homes, schools, commercial areas, government buildings, religious sites and other places of interest. As the Team runs, one will lead in prayer while the other two will agree. With the aim to cover most grounds, the run adopts the relay style by using Prayer Cards in replacement of batons.

This running while praying program is a good cause because we really need to pray for our nations. It's as important as eating your rice every day. =p I would encourage you to sign up if you're interested. Details are as follow:
  • Date: 10 October 2009
  • Venue: Pre-selected routes. Wait for further instructions
  • Time: Gather at 4.30am before the whole run begins
  • Price: RM10 for registration (Optional RM20 for the T-shirt)
For further information regarding this great program, check out the RunNat website. And if you're interested in participating in this good cause and do not know how to sign up or need some help, you can always call Kelvin (012-207 9363) or email to him at kelvinkuankm@yahoo.com.

Come'n guys, we should be praying for our nation with actions. Remember our camp? LIVING FAITH!

S.O.S.

"Save Our Ship", "Survivors On Ship,", "Save Our Sailors", "Stop Other Signals", "Send Out Sailors"... these are just some variations of S.O.S., a term used for emergencies and cries for help.

Though, S.O.S. is more commonly known as the abbreviation for "Save Our Souls"...

There are many others who are currently sending out the S.O.S. signals, but what should we respond to? Who and how should we respond to it?

This week's CF attempts to identify the S.O.S. calls and cries that we just might have missed it all along in our daily walks and routines. Find out what is means to truly respond to S.O.S. calls around us.

Join us for a great time of CF, this FRIDAY, 18th Sept, in C406!
